Steps to gaining access that will help you obtain the software needed for NSIPS Login:

1. Upload the following link into your browser, this is will be the document for requesting access to the NSIPS Login system:  http://www.public.navy.mil/bupers-npc/enlisted/cmsid/Documents/SAAR-N_OPNAV_5239_14_Rev_9_2011.pdf

2. Provide the information requested in the document and save the document to a folder of your choice on your computer.

3. Obtain access into your chosen internet service that will be used for emailing.

4. Open the area needed within your selected email service provider where you will begin to compose a new email message.

5. Where the "To" section of your message has the field provided, enter one of the chosen email addresses from the contact list we provided below. For example, maybe you will like to send an email to their help desk, so you will copy and paste the following email address into the "To" section (nsipshelpdesk@navy.mil).

6. In the subject field of your email composition, make sure to mention "Request for CAC system access".

7. Make sure to add the SAAR-N document you filled out to the email by clicking the attachments section of your email composition, and searching your computer to locate and click on the file from the chosen folder you saved the file in.

8. In the body of the email, you can say whatever you like, we just want to make mention you should perhaps make sure to mention who you are, and that you are requesting access at least.

9. Once you have completed the body of your email, make sure to see that the document is showing the name as attached to the email.

10. Once all things have checked out on the previous steps, click the send button in your email service so that the message will be sent to the email address you have chosen.

11. Now comes the waiting game, someone should be able to contact you with the next steps of the REAL links to the intranet software and login/password information.

 

 

Steps for resetting any usernames or passwords:

At this time, all of the troubleshooting and requests are handled by emailing their help desk with your concern. 

1. Obtain access into your chosen internet service that will be used for emailing.

2. Open the area needed within your selected email service provider where you will begin to compose a new email message.

3. Where the "To" section of your message has the field provided, enter one of the chosen email addresses from the contact list we provided below. In this case you will definitely copy and paste the following email address into the "To" section (nsipshelpdesk@navy.mil).

4. In the subject field of your email composition, make sure to mention your need to reset password or recover username.

5. In the body of the email, you can say whatever you like, we just want to make mention you should perhaps make sure to mention who you are, and that what it is you are intending to accomplish i.e. password rest or recover username.

6. Once all things have checked out on the previous steps, click the send button in your email service so that the message will be sent to the email address you have chosen.

7. Then the waiting game begins again, someone should be able to contact you with the next steps of password reset or username recovery.
